It all started with an invitation in 2010 to pitch for copywriting on the Sherborne Girls prospectus. We won the job with an innovative content-led approach and the relationship has burgeoned ever since. We now work regularly on parent newsletters, web copy, the annual Old Girls Journal, handbooks, and ghostwriting projects for the Senior Leadership Team. We’ve produced tone-of-voice guidelines for the School and written the narrative for its distinctive “Separate Yet Together” campaign with Sherborne School.

Sherborne Girls

It is always a real pleasure to work with Tim and Sarah. They completely understand our School, the culture and ethos, and they always reflect our voice in the most authentic and compassionate way.

We have worked with the Writing Hut for many years on a wide range of projects including a completely new prospectus (in collaboration with Sherborne School), our suite of curriculum guides and house booklets, a tone of voice review and standardised style sheet, and a specific piece of writing to reflect the School’s Christian ethos.

As well as being excellent copywriters, they are also a delight to work, always bending over backwards to meet deadlines, suggest ideas and present the School in the best way possible.

It was a pleasure working with Tim and Sarah from The Writing Hut throughout the process of developing our prospectuses. They took time and trouble to get under the skin of our school and developed a comprehensive understanding of our values and ethos. This really came through in the writing, which was clear and informative, but retained the sense of fun which we see as an important part of a child’s education. This was a collaborative project and Tim and Sarah were an integral part of the team working with great efficiency and creativity.
