Teehaus Ronnefeldt and Umschau

In 2013, Germany’s prestige tea seller produced a book about the history of tea and the joys of drinking it. The company’s UK distributor, Cup of Tea Ltd, suggested that we work on the UK translation of the volume, to ensure it resonated with a British audience.

Working from a German-to-English translation, we copy-edited the content so that it retained its tone and style while using appropriate idioms and imagery for a British reader. The result was a beautiful tome that has proved a popular seller among tea lovers in this country, and won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award in 2014. It remains an important part of Ronnefeldt’s communications package.

We really appreciated Tim’s input to the TEA book. He brought life and vibrancy to the English translation, ensuring the high production values of this project were reflected in engaging copy that was perfectly pitched for our audience.
