Copywriting FAQs
How do you charge? Every project is different, and our fees vary accordingly. Unless you request otherwise, we will provide a fixed quote before starting any work. That way, we’ll all know where we stand.
What do your rates include? Again, this depends on the scope of the project. Typically, though, they cover:
- An initial briefing meeting or telephone conversation
- Research
- Creative thinking time
- A first draft of copy
- One redraft (if this is needed – though frequently it isn’t)
- Time spent discussing the copy with you
What are your turnaround times? This will depend on the scale of your project, and the size of our workload when you contact us. We will always agree timings with you in advance. And, if we tell you we can meet a deadline, we will.
Can I change my brief after you’ve started work? Yes, but we will charge for any additional work arising from the changes.
Can you help with design or web development? We stick to copywriting, because it’s what we do best. But we do know some top-notch designers and web developers, and will gladly put you in touch with them – or work with them on your behalf.
Do we need to meet in person? No. Our clients frequently brief us over the phone, and via email. If you’d like to meet face to face, though, we’re always glad to do so.
Can I see samples of your work, before I commit to using your services? Absolutely. We will provide you with samples that most closely reflect the work you have asked us to do.
